Blind Control

PROJECT CONTEXT

A south-facing open-plan office with a 95% window-to-wall ratio gains daylight and view but pays in cooling load and glare. The thesis asks how external Venetian blinds should be driven to balance the two, testing passive, scheduled, rule-based and DGP-aware controllers against sDA300/50% ≥ 75% and fDGPt ≤ 5%.
